This comic is as “real life” as stories get. It happened (and was reiterated) exactly like this. Stories are tricky things to convert into a three panel comic form, but we wanted to tackle the challenge. Sopes in particular has the most difficult job with unusual scripts. He’s not in the room when we create the idea, he merely receives an RTF file with descriptions of scenes. “Draw a sub panel in this panel to look kind of like an illustration of what Kham is talking about.”
Bless you Sopes.
For those unaware, bad frame rates in a first person shooter game would be like seeing everything after it already happened. A grenade would fall at your feet, but you wouldn’t know it was there until the explosion happened. And then your friends make fun of you for getting hit by the grenade. Glorious.
